Name It Tame It, is meant as application of neuroscience in daily life, school, workplace and even therapeutic environment. Name It Tame It enables the user to reflect and take notes on his/her emotions. Through this activity the user self-regulates his/her own nervous system in times of overwhelming arousal-anxiety state or mania.
However, the self-regulation process is not limited to an episode of a psychological meltdown. It expands its effectiveness over a period of time and is ultimately meant to physically change the user’s brain structure (through neuroplasticity).
Self-awareness and selfregulation are known to significantly enhance wellbeing, intra- and interpersonal connectedness, positive social behaviours and achievement.
There are three fundamental goals of this application: therapeutic, educational and social.
